Ida victoria, Ferda backpack & bag

FERDA BACKPACK & BAG by Ida Victoria is patterns for bag and backpack, with several options. Use woven fabrics – a heavier fabric as canvas, oilskin or softshell on the outside, and a thinner cotton for lining. You also need strap webbing and metal parts (25-30 mm wide). The fabric consumption is measured on 150 cm width, and is rounded up.

*If you don’t have the right zipper length, choose a longer one and shorten.

Fabric consumption, bag:
Outer fabric and lining: 55 cm / 20” of each
Interfacing (optional): 55 cm / 20”
Extra for inner pockets in lining: 60 cm / 24” of both lining and interfacing
Strap webbing: 170 cm / 67” (+ opt. 120-140 cm / 47-55” for shoulder strap)

You also need: One 30 cm / 12” long zipper*, one D ring and one carabine hook.
Extra, for optional shoulder strap: 2 D rings, 2 carabine hooks, 1 adjustable slider.
Extra, for optional inner pocket in the back piece: One 16 cm / 6.5” long zipper*.

Strap webbing: 185 – 215 cm / 73-85” 225 cm / 89 265 cm / 105”

You also need: One D ring, one carabine hook, two rectangular rings, two adjustable sliders, one 16 cm / 6.5” long zipper*. One snap button/magnetic button/velcro (for pocket option with flap) or one zipper* in the length 28/34/38 cm / 11/13/15” (for front pocket option with zipper).
