This pattern includes 13 patterns for baby doll accessories. These are nice little projects that are fun to sew and play with. There are mostly projects for woven fabrics, but also some for jersey. Everything is made for baby dolls in 43 cm height, but as much of it is not made to fit a body, several of the items can be used for larger and smaller dolls or teddy bears as well.

There are no clothes in this booklet. If you are looking for clothes for your baby doll, you will find basic jersey garments for your doll’s wardrobe in the pattern booklet “Sew for baby dolls – 1. Basic jersey” from Ida Victoria. All the dolls you see pictured here are wearing clothes from that pattern.

This pattern includes two men’s underwear designs: Boxer shorts and a brief with a fly opening. The underwear is made to be comfortable to wear and fits snugly on the body. Thin jersey fabrics with good stretch are well suited for this underwear.

The pattern comes in sizes XS-4XL. Inside the booklet is a size chart with measurements.

A. The boxer shorts are long, going high up in the waist and well down the thighs. The boxer has a double front and gusset, with no visible seams on the inside front. They are comfortable with a snug fit.

B. The brief is a smaller design with a fly opening. They do not cover the thighs, but slopes from the crotch up to the side. They are comfortable and have good coverage, with three different choices for finishing at the waist.

• Fabric consumption boxer: 65 cm
• Fabric consumption brief: 50 cm

The fabric consumption stated is based on a fabric width of 150 cm, and is rounded up. You will also need elastic for the waist, 70 – 120 cm long. For wide, visible boxer elastic, the elastic should be 3-6 cm wide. For narrower elastic that is sewn into the fabric on the brief model, the elastic should be 2-2.5 cm wide. You will also need edging for the briefs. Alternatively, both models can be sewn with a waistband in the same fabric as the rest. In that case, you do not need elastic, but add 15 cm to the fabric consumption.

Patroon voor jas

The Lone Linen Jacket is a loose-fitting jacket with a collar, optional pockets and button closure in the front. You can choose between two different lengths of both the jacket and the sleeves. The jacket can be sewn with a round or pointed collar and lapels.

As the name suggests, this jacket is beautiful in linen, but it can also be sewn in other woven fabrics. The result will be quite different depending on the type of fabric you choose. Everything from thinner silk fabric, woven viscose and linen to thicker and stiffer fabrics such as wool and denim work well for this jacket.

 

Fabric consumption: 

• Short jacket, long sleeves: XS – L: 160 cm,  XL – 4 XL: 180 cm
• Short jacket, short sleeves: XS – L: 150 cm, XL – 4 XL: 170 cm
• Long jacket, long sleeves: XS – L: 200 cm, XL – 4 XL: 220 cm
• Long jacket, short sleeves: XS – L: 190 cm, XL – 4 XL: 210 cm

The fabric consumption is based on a fabric width of 150 cm. Pay attention to good placement of the pattern pieces on the fabric.

In addition you will need 3 buttons for the short version, and 5 buttons for the long. You will also need a small piece of iron-on interfacing.

Optional: Matching bias tape for a neater finish on the inside.

The Måne dressing gown is a practical robe/dressing gown with a loose fit and 3/4 length sleeves. The sleeves can be sewn straight or as balloon sleeves, and you can choose between two different pockets and two different collars. The length is approximately mid-calf, and that is what the fabric consumption is based on, but you can easily lengthen or shorten it.

The robe is sewn in woven fabrics. Suitable fabrics include woven linen, cotton muslin, flannel or thin terry cloth. Old bed linen also works well for this!

• 92-104:  100 cm
• 110:  100 cm + evt. 25 cm ekstra for lommer
• 116 – 128:  150 cm
• 134:  170 cm
• 140 – 152:  240 cm

This is the second undies pattern for women by Ida Victoria, with undies models you won’t find in the first pattern. In this new pattern, you get four models; two thongs and two maxi pants, both models with several options for variation. Three of the models are finished with rib knit binding, FOE, or other underwear elastics, while one model is made with two layers of fabric, with hidden seams. The undies are sewn in cotton jersey, or other thinner fabrics with stretch.

• A. Maxi pants: Hight waisted and with good coverage around the buttocks.
• B. Extra maxi pants: Even more higher waisted and with more coverage.
• C. Regular thong: A plain thong, with two height choices for the waist.
• D. Seamless thong: A thong with to layers of fabric, and all the seams hidden on the inside. Two length options for the waistline.

This pattern includes sizes XXS (26/28) up to size 4XL (58/60).

 

Fabric consumption:

These undies doesn’t need much fabric, and pieces of leftover fabric can often be used. If you are buying fabric by the meter, this is what is needed:

• A. Maxi pants: 40 cm  /  16″
• B. Extra maxi pants: 45 cm  /  18″
• C. Regular thong: 25 cm  /  10″ + 5 cm  / 2″ for higher waist
• D. Seamless thong: 35 cm  /  14″ + 5 cm  / 2″ for higher waist

The Ida’s Under panties are designed to be comfortable, with a great fit. You’ll make them from stretch materials such as cotton jersey, viscose jersey or fine rib knit. These panties are also a great way to make use of all those fabric scraps! In this pattern packet you will find four different design options:

A: Underbelly / Low rise. These panties are low in the front and slightly higher in the back. This is a great option even as pregnancy wear as the baby bump will fit nicely over the edge of the panties.

B: High rise panties go higher up on the belly, making them a snug option with great coverage.

C: Hipster panties are a straight, wide shape with leg openings placed a little lower on the thigh than regular panties. The waist is a little higher than the low rise.

D: Boxer shorts are medium high on the waist and with longer legs.

The pattern is printed in full size, and includes women’s sizes XXS-4XL (US 00-30). The pattern also comes with an instruction booklet with thorough sewing guidelines, illustrations and pictures.
